Pediatric Therapy

Realizing The Potential Of All Children

Pediatric Physical Therapy at Stretch focuses on the whole child and fosters growth in gross motor skills, as well as improving self-confidence and building self-esteem.  Play is at the core of our therapy treatment and physical therapy sessions.  We believe that children should enjoy coming to physical therapy to “work”, play, and have fun!  We believe that collaborating with families in the caring for their children is the greatest contributing factor to realizing a child’s potential.  The child’s and families goals for therapy are always a key component in the evaluation and treatment planning process at Stretch. We believe that children have infinite potential and strive to create a nurturing environment for children to develop and grow.

Pediatric Physical Therapy focuses on improving gross motor skills, strength, balance, coordination, motor planning, and proprioceptive awareness.  We believe that a child’s sensory motor system is a crucial part of a child’s development and combine a multi-sensory approach to physical therapy that teaches self-regulation.
